What is Sooraj Barjatya doing after the success of Vivah? Sooraj Barjatiya has moved to television. He is busy with his new Rajshri Productions television show Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee Tv. Like his films, even this show is deeply rooted in tradition and narrates the story of the protagonist’s (played by Suhasi Dhami) love for her house and the many such memories that she cherishes in her heart. Be it his shows or films, people have always complained that he is stuck in a time zone and talks about utopian Indian society.
‘I never watch dark intense films. Because somewhere I don’t like them. I feel there is enough negativity in real life. Then why not watch some good positive films which give you a positive energy. When my film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun released people really liked the joint family concept. So I feel somewhere by your films you can change society to think positive,’ says Suraj.

‘When I make a film and after the release, I get really fantastic openings. My films have done well at the box office. My film Main Prem Ki Deewani with different concept bombed at the box office. After few years I came up with Vivah, which again give me a positive response. So I am satisfied with what I am doing. I don’t think I can make anything else, as I don’t believe in it.’

‘Everyone asks me why I take so long between films. For Vivah I took lesser time than usual. So I am improving. Right now, I am still in the scripting stages for my next film and haven’t decided about the cast yet,’ he concluded.
