Salman Khan’s quick thinking saved a junior actor’s life while shooting for his upcoming period film Veer.
A source present on the sets of the film reveals the details saying, “We were shooting in Rajasthan for a train robbery sequence in which Salman Khan was supposed to balance himself on two horses running alongside ridden by actor’s Bunny Anand and Vicky Mehra. There were several other horse riders riding behind them on breakneck speed. The shot had been rehearsed over 10-15 times and when they began the sequence, Bunny lost his balance and was about to fall off the horse that Salman caught his collar and pulled him up. If Bunny would have fallen onto the ground, he would have been crushed under his horse and with the other riders in the back. Even Salman would have lost his balance and met with the same fate as Bunny.”He adds, “Salman’s alertness and quick thinking along with his physicals strength heled Bunny get up back on the horse or it would have been too late.” Bunny confirmed the news and said, ‘Salman bhai saved my life. I don’t know how to repay him.’ Producer Vijay Galani too spoke of the news saying, ‘When I first heard about the incident, a shiver ran up my spine. Thanks to Salman, we did not have any untoward accident on the sets that day. I will never forget how he saved Bunny.’ Bunny however so shook with the entire experience couldn’t shoot the sequence again that day and was asked to take a break and regain his composure. The film is set to resume shooting in a few days.
