Kareena Kapoor the new Desi girl!

Director Tarun Mansukhani is still working on the script of ‘Dostana 2’, but rumours about the new ‘desi girl’ in his film have started buzzing. First, it was heard that’s Katrina Kaif will be the sequel’s heroine, and now the goss mills say Kareena Kapoor could be the chosen one.

Quite a scoop! But one can’t rubbish this piece of goss. Kareena Kapoor is indeed the hot favourite of Karan Johar now. She is going to prove her acting mettle in the soon-to-release Kurbaan and has a terrific role in K Jo’s version of ‘Stepmom’. Thus it won’t be surprising if she replaces Priyanka as the desi girl in ‘Dostana 2’. And since Bebo is no less than a sensation in Bollywood, having her in the film can work wonders. She won’t even mind slipping into a bikini.

Tarun was recently quoted as saying, “We are almost done with the script. At the moment I’m neither confirming not denying Kareena’s presence.”

Now, what the original desi girl of Dostana, Priyanka Chopra has to say about this? She even tweeted once that no one can be a ‘desi girl’ like her.

May be Kareena would like to prove her wrong!
