Hailing from remote place, Kangana Ranaut became a popular star in bollywood. She got the honor of being the only Indian to be invited by Diego Della Valle, who is the founder of Tod’s (the Italian luxury brand), to a dinner to celebrate the launch of the brand’s signature collection in Paris recently. It was followed by Cocktail Evening, hosted by the Consul General of Italy.
Kangana got the unique opportunity to dine alongside celebrities like Jade Jagger and Nicole Kidman. An excited Kangana said “It was an honour to share a platform with Nicole Kidman. She’s a very warm person,”. Speaking about her star image and style quotient she said “It’s always nice to be appreciated, though what matters to me most is if the audience has liked my films. To be appreciated for your style is the icing on the cake,” the actress says. Incidentally, Kangna was quite a diva even as a kid.
“I always had a thing for clothes! I remember when I was five, my best friend got this beautiful black dress and I wanted one exactly like that. So much so, that I cried till I got a similar one. I never cried for toys and stuff like that. I guess fashion was always important for me,” she smiles. No wonder the world capital of fashion is her favourite city. “I love everything about Paris, and every season in the city is lovely. I was in Paris around New Year’s and was back there recently. I’ll probably go in the summer too,”
