In a recent spate of interviews, Kareena seems to have found a new role model.

Back then when she did Asoka for SRK, she was so besotted with him that she only wanted to appear with him in films. Now that she has signed on the dotted lines for his next film Ra 1, she does not seem to be as bright-eyed about him as she used to be in the past.

For the promotion of 3 Idiots at an event, she went on to call Aamir the ‘emperor of Bollywood’. Now this, when we all know who is called the Badshah of Bollywood, comes as a bit of a surprise. At the event, she also gushed how her career would not have been complete had she not done a film with Aamir.

A source close to the film says, “Kareena went out of her way to accommodate her dates for 3 Idiots. She has been wanting to do a film with him for long. She often recounts how Lolo (Karisma Kapoor) gave one of her career defining performance with Aamir in Raja Hindustani. Similarly, she hopes to be able to create some of that magic in 3 Idiots, and for which she is going out of her way to put Aamir on a high pedestal.”

A source close to the actor further adds, “It comes as a bit of a shock to us how these days Bebo has been raving only about Aamir, and which we understand could be a gimmick since she is out promoting 3 Idiots. Her getting the next SRK project, Ra 1 is a big deal, as at this point of time all the girls would like to be in her shoes. So she’s tight-lipped about it and does not want to drag SRK’s name anywhere close to 3 Idiots promotion. She is just glad to keep both happy, and separate.”

This one sure knows how to play the game, but why don’t we ever hear of her talking about Saif these days? After a recent irate SMS of her to Saif was exposed on national television, we think something is brewing between the perfect couple. Kurbaan’s fate might be an eye-opener on their current relationship.
